About
It was established in response to local community demand for supportive and culturally respectful disability support services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Hunter and Western regions.
Drawing upon their passion and lived experiences of disability, Koiop Connect focuses on community and family involvement to provide a greater quality of life to their clients.
Reflective of the meaning of Koiop, Dragonfly, which symbolises change and the perspective of self-realisation, the kind of change that has its source in mental and emotional maturity and the understanding of the deeper meaning of life. Koiop Connect aims to inspire this by working with clients and embracing their culture.
